Dear colleagues,

We are happy to announce that we are accepting submissions for talks at the fourth JuMP-dev workshop, which will take place June 15-17, 2020 at Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium.

The workshop is the annual meeting for JuMP, an algebraic modeling language for mathematical optimization embedded in the Julia programming language. Its purpose is to bring together students, researchers, and practitioners with interests in the software aspects of JuMP and related packages. The single-track schedule is designed to leave ample time for discussions and collaboration between participants and the core development team.

We seek talks in areas that include but are not limited to:

  • JuMP core development
  • Mathematical optimization solvers written in Julia
  • Automatic differentiation in Julia
  • Julia interfaces to solvers
  • JuMP extensions (stochastic programming, robust optimization, multiobjective optimization, …)
  • Optimization libraries that use JuMP
  • Developer tools for JuMP
  • Commercial use of JuMP
  • JuMP for teaching

See the previous iterations of the workshop in Cambridge, MA (2017), Bordeaux (2018), and Santiago, Chile (2019) for examples of accepted talks.

Abstract submission is linked from the workshop website and will close on February 29th. Limited funding for travel is available for speakers; please indicate interest on the talk submission form.

Hope to see you there!
